You crash your friend's car because you're driving too fast in bad weather. Everyone's okay, but the car has to go into the shop. Who pays the deductible?
You. Only complete jackass would try to weasel out of that one.
How do you feel about your birthday? Do you look forward to it and remind all your friends, or do you dread it and try to keep it a secret?
I'm really just sort of ambivalent about it. I don't dread it, but I don't make a big deal out of it unless it's a big birthday (like one with a zero in it).
Who was the first person to give you info -- correct or not -- on how to "make babies"?

Jack Tripper.
What are the 10 foods you must have in your refrigerator and/or your kitchen cabinet?
Submitted by Carol.
1. Diet Pepsi
2. Milk
3. Cheese
4. Peanut Butter
5. Pasta (usually whole wheat penne)
6. 1 frozen pizza--for emergencies. This is supposed to keep me from ordering pizza, and it usually works. I am very impressed with the Trader Joe's margherita. I had the Pagliacci one recently and I actually prefer the frozen Trader Joe's.
7. Apples
8. Some type of bread.
9. Tortillas
10. Cereal
Did you see the Harry Potter movie this weekend? Are you going to read the new book?
I saw the movie on Wednesday.
I will be reading the book ASAP. I've ordered one from Amazon, but I'm planning to go to the beach this weekend and don't think it will arrive before we leave, so I will either go to a midnight release party (it is my last chance, after all), or pick it up Saturday morning before we leave. I have already put the word out that I can not be expected to socialize or cook anything, although I did say I would make something ahead of time on Friday, and if it's hot I might not be able to resist swimming. I read book 7 in one sitting (about 11 hours) on the day it came out, so I expect to be done with this one by Monday at the latest.
If you could eat only 3 foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Submitted by formance.
Cheese, bread, and chocolate.
But that probably wouldn't be so good for health reasons. If I were picking for health I'd go with Alaskan salmon, nonfat milk, and apples. I did have a near-lethal (or at least I wished I would die) broccoli overdose last week that taught me it is possible to have too much of a good thing. Superfood, my ass.
What board game are you really good at? Really bad at?
I have yet to be on a losing Cranium team, but I think that's more due to luck than skill. I don't seem to be good at Clue--I've only ever won once, and I've played it a lot.
What clothing item do you wish could be banned?

Crocs. Must. Go.
What are three things you want to learn, and three things you can teach others to do?
Submitted by bookishbiker.
Three things I want to learn:
1. How to parallel park. Yeah, this is what happens when you grow up in the suburbs--I could parallel park my old car pretty well, but haven't learned to do it in my current car. Come on, I've only had this car 8 years!
2. How to dress and cook a turkey.
3. Change a tire. (I KNOW--I should know how to do this!)
Three things I can teach others to do:
1. Paint a room. A recently acquired skill--thanks, Leslie!
2. Give myself a professional-looking pedicure.
3. Make good pot roast.
What do you absolutely refuse to eat?
It's bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
